Inflation Expectation survey

In line with international practice, the Bank of Mauritius (BoM) has been paying special attention to monitoring private sector inflation expectations. In this respect, the Bank conducted its first Inflation Expectations Survey (IES) in November 2008 to find out the outlook on inflation by stakeholders. The Survey is conducted on a quarterly basis and invites responses through mail from 50 stakeholders of the financial and real sectors of the economy. The results of the IES are published on the Bank’s website.
